Christina Camper's Rental Policies
The following rental policies have been developed to ensure the comfort, pleasure, and security of all persons visiting the property.
Age, Size & Conduct of Party – Only registered guests are permitted overnight use of the home and property. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE acceptance policy and failure to comply may result in immediate eviction with forfeiture of all monies paid. Please review the maximum number of guests permitted at each of our rentals. Our rentals cater to families and mature adult groups only. The Renter and guests must be 21 years of age or older, except for family members that are under the direct supervision of the Renter. Registered guests are fully responsible for the actions and conduct of their visitors. To protect the quiet times, visitors are required to be off the property before 11 PM nightly.
Noise, Partying & Offensive Behaviour – This is not a party property. Excessive noise or partying is not allowed in your rental or on the property. This includes any offensive or undesirable behaviour that would effect the enjoyment of others in the resort. This is a ZERO TOLERANCE acceptance policy and failure to comply may result in eviction with forfeiture of all monies paid.
Cleaning/Damage/Liability – You will be charged a refundable damage/cleaning deposit. It is the responsibility of the guest to keep the rental and property clean. Please leave the property in the same condition upon departure as you found it at check-in.
The Guests shall pay for any damage done to the premises over and above normal wear and tear and are responsible for ensuring that these policies are respected and adhered to.
No charges will occur provided the following provisions are met:
- No damage is done to the rental or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
- All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in refuse containers.
- All soiled dishes are washed and put away, including dishes done in the dishwasher.
- The rental should be left neat and tidy, and all items returned to their original location.
- All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
- No items from the rental are lost or damaged.
- The rental is kept in satisfactory clean and sanitary condition during your stay.
- The guests do not use the rental or allow the rental to be used for any illegal or unlawful purposes.
- No early check-in or late check outs unless previously arranged. In the event the foregoing provisions are not met, costs to rectify are applied from the damage/cleaning deposit.
Neither Christina Camper's nor Christina Lake Vacation Homes shall be held liable for any losses, claims, damages, costs or expenses arising out of any theft, accident, injury, death, damage, delay, inconvenience or distress, whether or not arising by the negligence of the property owner or Christina Lake Vacation Homes, and the Guests hereby waive any and all such liability.
Bedding, Linens & Towels - Christina Camper's no longer supplies bedding, linens or towels. All that is supplied is the mattress covers on the beds and pillow protectors. You must bring all your own bedding (sheets, pillowcases, blankets) and towels (bath towels, hand towels, face cloths); we thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
Pets – Pets are not allowed at this property, either staying in the rental or visiting the property.
Smoking - There is no smoking allowed in the resort. If you smoke, do so only in the designated area at the front gate by the recycle bins. If you do not adhere to this, you may be asked to leave the resort immediately without a refund.
Booking Deposit - The Booking Deposit is due at the time of reservation and is 30% of the total amount before taxes. If the total amount before tax is less than $450.00, the booking deposit will automatically be $250.00. The booking deposit can only be paid by e-Transfer or cheque.
Final Payment - The final payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. Final payments can only be paid by e-Transfer or cheque..
Cancellation Policy - There is a 30-day cancellation policy. If you cancel 30 days or more before your scheduled stay, your payment minus a $200.00 plus tax cancellation fee will be refunded to you. If you cancel with less than 30 days notice, half your accommodation cost will be forfeited..
BBQS - Please shut off all valves and dials, and ensure that all food residue is scraped and/or burned off after cooking. The BBQ should be left ready for the next guest to use when you depart.
Garbage & Recycling - The duty hosts will pick up your garbage during July and August. There is a dumpster and recycling bins just inside the gate. At no time is garbage to be left outside. The crows will be into it almost immediately during daylight hours, and bears or raccoons could get into it if left overnight.
Boat Moorage - Prearranged boat moorage for one boat is provided for $15.00 plus GST per day on the dock at Christina Camper's, but the owners and Christina Lake Vacation Homes cannot guarantee safe moorage anywhere on the lake. You must pay the duty hosts before you put your boat in the lake.
